NORTHERN PETROLEUM PLC

Fraud alert

Employment

It has come to the attention of Northern Petroleum that fraudulent offers of employment are being offered by persons claiming to be Northern Petroleum representatives, especially impersonating Mr Keith Bush and Miss Michelle Moore.

Please note that Northern Petroleum does not ask for money transfers or payments from applicants to secure a job, either as an employee or as a contractor, and will never ask for payments towards travel expenses or visas/work permits. Therefore you should assume that such individuals and organisations are not providing genuine offers or services.

Northern Petroleum will always meet applicants in person before a formal offer is made. Furthermore all e-mail correspondence relating to employment with Northern Petroleum will never be sent either from (or to) free web-based email accounts.

If you are asked for personal information and are unsure of the legitimacy of the request, please contact us at the following address: info@northpet.com

"Boiler Room" scam

Northern has been made aware that, in common with many other companies, some of its shareholders have been contacted by apparent "boiler room" fraudsters seeking to buy and/or sell shares.

If Northern shareholders are cold called, they are encouraged not to enter into transactions with the caller and report any and all details they obtain to Northern, who may if appropriate report matters to the Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA").
